Worst experience we have ever had with a specialist visit. Actually didn't believe me when I descibed pain signs and symptoms. She said my daughter didn't look like she was in pain. Questioned the validity of my observations of my daughter's symptoms Wouldn't do any investigation even though strong family history of autoimmune disease in the family and some symptoms present. Finished appointment by saying "Dr. Horvath didn't run tests so I'm not going to. " Then, shockingly, "You seem disappointed that there is nothing wrong with your daughter" Completely unprofessional, wasn't thorough (didn't ask about family history I had to bring it up), basically didn't care enough to do her job Please save yourself the time and grief of seeing this person. Ask to be referred to another geneticist.
