I had a concerning experience with Mark Kumho Lee during a visit to the Urgent Care Centre for sudden hearing loss. After waiting over three hours, I expected a basic level of attention and care. Unfortunately, Lee seemed rushed and disengaged from the start. He barely listened, misinterpreted my symptoms, and initially declined to provide a referral to an ENT specialist — something that was clearly necessary in my situation. I had to express my concerns to the attending nurse, who thankfully helped brining him back to ensure I receive the referral. It was frustrating to feel dismissed in a setting where patients are already vulnerable and in need of clear communication and competent care. My interaction with Lee raised serious concerns about his professionalism and attentiveness. I hope the clinic takes steps to ensure patients receive the quality of care they deserve. I had to express my concerns to the attending nurse, who thankfully helped ensure I received the referral. It was frustrating to feel dismissed in a setting where patients are already vulnerable and in need of clear communication and competent care.
