It's because of him I was able to walk for many years. I've seen new Doctors since but they simply are not him. It's really sad that a doctor of his caliber didn't have anyone equally as talented to take his place. Yes that's how good he was. He used to call me his miracle baby... You just don't see doctor's like him anymore. He would take the time to explain everything never was short with you always kind. I was blessed to have had him...

Dr sober was a godsend to me. Dr's were stumped by the cysts inside my femur, screws, plates had been tried and failed. I kept breaking my leg doing everyday activities. Months in traction after setting the broken bone, nothing worked. Dr's were at the point of taking my leg. Dr sober had an idea that was basically a final option. What was the worst thing that could happen? The Dr's were ready to take the leg, why not try a bone replacement. I was 4 years old then, I am now 49 and have enjoyed the full active use of both my legs thanks to Dr sober. I hope that someone has pursued his ideas and furthered his work. I need another medical miracle now, I need an elbow and forearm bone due to a workplace accident that has left me with a dying bone in my forearm and a shattered elbow with only one moving joint attached and no cartilage in it.
