Dr Tjan has been a saving grace in my life. I have read some other reviews about her and I would like to address those. The two biggest complaints about Dr Tjan is her lateness and her misdiagnosis of patients. Although often late, there are reasons behind this. We are all human, despite our profession. We all have flaws. Although lateness can be an issue, reliability is not. Dr Tjan is incredibly reliable. She will do anything for her patients and spends almost all of her time with her patients. When you are with her, you have all of her attention. She may not have the time to go and review the details of every patient before seeing them, but she cares so much about everyone. Misdiagnosis may occur, especially if it is specialists that are eventually figuring out the problem. Dr Tjan isn't a 'specialist' so wouldn't it make sense that she may not know exactly what is wrong from a specialists point of view? Yes-- she does Prescribe medication, but if you don't want it, she will not push you. She is a medical doctor and believes In medicine. She will also do other natural treatments for certain problems, which is great. Dr Tjan is AMAZING and I feel sad for anyone who does NOT have her as their doctor. I have definitely seen doctors that are more 'professional', but I have never had a doctor who has cared the way she does. I would rather a doctor look at me as a human being she cares about than just a medical case to analyze.
