He was never late, but he was never, EVER trustworthy. He nearly killed me (and several other patients) by overprescribing ADD medication. He was banned from practicing in Canada, but I hear he went back to France a few years ago and is still touting himself as an expert in ADD/ADHD treatment. Scary.

Dr. Benchitrit was my son's diagnosing & initially the primary care physician for his ADHD. It took far too long for us to get a diagnosis, until we were referred to the doctor by a family friend. He returned my son to me and I was very sad when he chose to leave medicine because of tax problems. I can't thank him enough for how much he helped us.

He prescribed 2 1/2 times the recommended daily dosage of amphetamines to treat my diagnosis for depression. This made me act incredibly manic, and threatened my steady employment. I ended up leaving my employer, and didn't have steady employment since.
