I recently asked Dr. Sharma to take me on as his patient, as my family doctor I've had since I was 16 (I am now 55) was in Brampton and due to retire. This review is not about Dr. Sharma, as he seems to be a very good doctor. This is about the clinic and staff. I waited for walk in for almost 3 hours one day, after getting a call saying that Dr. Sharma needed to see me. Now I need to have the clinic book a regular Mammogram and Ultrasound that I get annually as there is cancer in my family, which my previous family doctor's clinic, in Brampton would book for me, and I'm told I have to see Dr. Sharma on February 22nd at 12:45 to do this? So I have to make and appointment, to make another appointment with the hospital, what sense does that make? Today is February the 5th, he is now my new family doctor I can't believe I have to wait almost 3 weeks for an appointment? I do not understand this clinic. Half the time I get miscommunication from the staff there on the phone, then they tell you if you cannot make an appointment with the family doctor then you can see the walk in. The whole point of having a family doctor is so that you can make an appointment and see him when need be. This is ridiculous, and I have just called the office and left a message for Dr Sharma to call me and was told that there is no guarantee he will call me back. Very Unprofessional and Very Upsettng.
