She over sedated my mother who suffered a traumatic brain injury (to the point where she couldn't even lift her head up, and she had a long string of drool hanging from her mouth). She put my mom on many mood-altering drugs; which in turn, made her very suicidal. When i told dr.jassat that everytime i was with my mom after all this polypharmacology, she told me she wanted to kill herself...Dr.Jassat laughed at me and said, "your mom's not suicidal..." I wondered...how often do you hang out with her?? She continually referred that this behaviour was solely due to my mom's brain injury; although i had hours of video footage prior to all of this drug experimentation showing otherwise. This was a valid concern considering all of the anti-depressants my mom was on. Ever since Dr. Jassat has been her doctor, my mother isn't even a fraction of what she was when she first came there. It took me a long time to write this...almost two years since she was discharged; but, i vowed i would do it someday. this is a tid-bit tour of my real thoughts.
