we have been there twice to see Dr. Haikal for my 4 and a half year old little boy. To clean his ears. The first time, we were just a number, he was rushed and made my child very nervous.My son was yelling and crying has it was hurting him but kept going and never spoke to my son during this time. I had questions, but he had no time as people were waiting in the waiting room. 1 and a half month later, my son, nervous and worried (has the first time did not go well) I informed the doctor of how my son have been feeling, he was rude and told him to lay down. my son was scared has he remembered the pain it caused last time. I finaly get him to lay down and without a word to try to explain to my son what he is about to do.... so i spoke up and he says i will stop if it hurts. not even 10 seconds, my son starts yelling it hurts please stop. but the doctor kept on doing it. The more he was cleaning his ear the louder he was yelling and crying. ONE: a child begs for you to stop please stop especially if you tell him you will. TWO: we are not a number, we are a patient and my son deserves to be spoken too calmly and not in an annoyed voice. and finaly THREE: before calling your next patient in the room could my son at least get back up from the bed? after dr.haikal stoped hurting my son, he went right over to call the next patient. My son was still crying and had bleu lips from yelling and crying from pain. Needless to say, i gave him a second chance but wont have a third. He may be good at what he does but with kids he doesn't have it at all. Maybe he cannot stand seeing a child cry... but this is NO REASON. The service was a simple ear cleaning. But torture for my son. :( Unfortunatly for me and my son it has been a very bad experience. But he may be good with adults but for kids... i wouldn't go to him.
