An excellent psychiatrist. Took the time to listen to me, gave feedback. Suggested I was not ready to return to work, but for financial reasons I said I needed to. He got me on a low dose of antidepressant and anxiety meds. Things have been going well with only a few setbacks. I highly recommend Dr. Mahmood.

I was recommended by my counsellor because she was very concerned with my depression and thought I was at risk of harming myself. I was looking forward to speaking to Dr. Mahmood, but then came complete and utter disappointment. First, he did not know my name. Whatever, I thought, no big deal. He then proceeded to stay on his cell phone throughout most of the appt. He insisted I was not suicidal because I had not killed myself. This "doctor" is extremely insensitive. He prescribed me medication within the first 10 mins of meeting me. Once when he left the room for a moment, (probably to continue texting) I thought of leaving, and I should have. As soon as the appt was finished, I instantly started crying and told the staff I would never return to see him. I drove home and vowed to commit suicide to prove him wrong, but thankfully my boyfriend saved me. Worst experience of my life. I will forever be scarred.
