After being misdiagnosed by a different doctor two days previous, I went back to the ER at VGH and was seen by Dr. Passi. He was very knowledgeable as well as friendly and was able to perform a procedure to get rid of my infection that evening. I have felt better now than I have in weeks and am super grateful for his help.

After my mom had a colonoscopy done she started having abdominal pain, fever and diarrhea. No one seemed to be helpful where she had the colonoscopy done. The ambulatory dept. never returned my call regarding my concern, our family doctor said it was her body adjusting from the medication and the doctor who performed the colonoscopy said he wasn't sure what it was and in fact said another doctor performed the procedure. He was not helpful. Went to VGH and Dr. Passi was very quick getting things going (probably the fastest ER doctor I have seen) and making the right decision which was time sensitive. Even in such a fast paced environment he listened and explained and I am very thankful we went to VGH and had such a great doctor.

he took his time to listen. he took his time to explain! he helped me staying in Vancouver while going through very pailful back pains and walking difficulties! he was super approachable......making both myself and my husband feel that he cared!!!!! Fantastic " bedside" manners!!!!!
