Dr. Ateyah has a reputation for not caring (comments from others)(this is why he is readily available as a family doctor) I realized this too late. For example I have high blood pressure but he never measures it. He copied a list of medications prescribed by my last family doctor (Dr. Gagnon, Bolton, Ontario). Instead of a visit every three months that was usual for me, he prescribed a years supply of my medications. He isn't interested in obtaining my records from Dr. Gagnon and seems to be content to treat any problem as it happens along.Since I have been fortunate in not having any major problems (at 88), I can't comment on his effectiveness. I changed over to Dr. Ateyah about 18 months ago because of travel distance to Bolton. I live in Schomberg.

I was Dr Ateyah's patient for 15 years. I was always thankful for having him as my primary care doctor. I wish I can find a doctor that comes even close to him again. I tried to find one with no luck for the last four years. Thank you Dr Ateyah.
