Upset mother
Not happy at all with the bedside manner of Dr Farhat...after having trvel to Sick kids multiple times we finally found out from him that he did not want to go along with my fighters surgery because he wasn't confident in his ability to perform this surgery 100%. I felt like that's something he should have told us from the beginning because when the requisition was sent to the hospital it said from the beginning that is was needed. After many travels he finally just hands us off to another Dr which means we have to come back to just meet the Dr again. I am very frustrated with him and wish that he wouldn't just beat around the Bush from the beginning. Not to mention we would barely ever see him himself because he would always send his fellows in to talk with you....the only time we ever got to see him is when we got upset enough that the fellow didn't know what to do. Would not recommend him if you have a choice.

I was inspired by professor Walid Farhat’s visit to our hospital in October 2015, and I was so stunned and amazed by his mastery as a surgeon and as a scientist/ He's very good doctor!
