Never have I met a doctor that absolutely have no interest in your well being. Not once have I had a family doctor where I had to argue with them every single phone call, with your opinions shut down. I was assigned this doctor since my original family doctor retired, and it's been my biggest regret that I did not switch sooner. Had a history of Herpes facial outbreak, and I went to my local walk-in clinic to seek help since it was extremely painful and I was able to get same day service and antiviral medication. I was told by this so called Doctor that I should follow up with the walk-in over and over again, even when I told him it's through online and the doctors change every time. I told him they did a swap test a few years back to verify it's herpes, and he continuously said Okay if you say it is. I then requested whether I can get a blood test or blood allergy test since I have a history of eczema/skin rashes, only to be told "They're completely useless, and does nothing." When asked how he was going to help me then he simply requested a photo of the herpes outbreak, and wants to take a look before authorizing a blood test, constantly stating it's, and i quote, "unethical/unprofessional." I simply can't understand how looking at a photo will resolve my issues, when I told him it's two separate things and I want to do a blood test to see if there's any underlying issue. Sometime as simple as a blood test, which my retired doctor was very keen to do, and when he saw certain values were a bit high (ALT), he made sure to follow up and monitor the situation. This supposed family doctor simply told me to go back to the walk-in, won't do a blood test, and just wants to look at a photo of the issue. In the end he straight up told me to switch family doctors, which put the nail in the coffin. I normally don't write reviews as normally these things are a one off, and I'm an easy going person, but this is just on a different level of professionalism and service. Please avoid this doctor at all costs, who has no care for your wellness. Your time is much better spent looking for a better doctor, rather than constant arguments that leave you more frustrated with your issues than ever.
