I visited Dr. Kaminsky to have a large lipoma removed from my back. During the consultation he was honest that because my lump was so big it would take up to an hour and some people might panic during such a long procedure. He suggested I think about it before committing. I did think long and hard about my ability to go through a long procedure under a local anaesthetic, but the alternative was to wait months for a hospital procedure. On his suggestion, I obtained a mild sedative from my doctor, which I took before the procedure. The operation took about 45 minutes. I was not stressed out in the least. After some time to 'recover' in the clinic, I received post-op instructions and went home. I am super impressed with the quality of Dr. Kaminsky's work. There was minimal pain, and the scar is beautiful and fine. Over time is should fade nicely. I don't think a plastic surgeon could have done better. I am so glad I finally had the mass removed, and I am very satisfied with the work done by Dr. Kaminsky and the care I received from his staff. Would highly recommend.
