Dr Astrope performed my prostate biopsy. She was excellent. Communicative (talked me through the whole precedure),and competent. Highly recommended

Hello; I'm having a MRI tomorrow at CV MRI so looked her up. Confused by the write up of who she is and her qualifications. Why does Astrope's Biography state her license "expired on 26 Jun 2008" and yet she is refered to as a MD and she's going to read my MRI. Thanks

WOW!! Dr. Astrope is the consummate professional - took time to review procedure, c/w drawing diagrams (CT assisted biopsy). Listened to my concerns re sufficient freezing administered. She and her OR team professional, compassionate and patient- focused.

Dr Astrope missed identifying a 2cmx2cm. right supraclavicular lymph node. I pointed it out to the surgeon who was about to remove a groin lymph node. He saw both on the ultra sound scan, which changed the diagnosis and treatment from excision with radiation of lymph node in groin to metastatic melanoma with immunotherapy.
