Frustrated

Dr. Pell is fine but her admin/reception staff is horrible. It is almost impossible to get through if you call (95% of the time, you get their voicemail) and if you leave a message, no one ever calls you back, or it will take them a really long time to call you back (I recently waited 2 weeks after leaving 3 voicemail messages before anyone bothered to call me back about a health concern.. and it was not even her regular staff who called me back but someone helping out!), even though their outgoing message says to wait 48 hours for non-urgent calls to be returned (nope.. try 336 hours!). The outgoing message also says if you are calling to make an appointment, hang up and try again later. How are you supposed to book an appointment if you can only get through the phone 5% of the time? This week, I called on Tue morning and of course didn't get through so left a message. It is now Friday night (over 80 hours later) and I am still waiting to hear from them. Also, her staff (I assume it was them) made some sort of mistake and the referral to a specialist that I was supposed to have from an appointment with Dr. Pell in May never got sent through somehow. I found this out when someone finally called me back at the end of July (after leaving 3 voicemail messages over the course of 2 weeks inquiring about it) and they had to send the referral request again. It is now mid September and I still haven't heard from anyone regarding the referral. This office doesn't care about you at all. Not what I want or expect from my family doctor so I am going to find another one. This is completely unacceptable!

Saw only once as a walkin patient but I was very impressed by her professional yet warm manner.
