Dr. Fainsilber can sometimes be a little socially awkward. Also, it was disappointing that when she went on maternity leave, she did not allocate all her patients to other doctors.

Dr. Fainsilber has followed two of my pregnancies, even though she was on maternity during my last delivery, she has always made sure I had a good doctor to see. Pro natural birth, very friendly, I really feel comfortable when I see her. Now my third pregnancy she is on sabbatical (which I respect, she has 2 small children and she knows what is important in life!), she has made sure I have a great doctor that will be respectful of my wanting a natural birth. She is easily reachable via email and very helpful. I am really happy I have her as a family doctor, even though she has been away from her practice at times. She is very busy, and the visits are short, but I don't mind because I am healthy, I know if there was anything that needed attention, she would take the time. I look forward to her coming back so we can have our family doctor back!

Dr. Fainsilber was a lifesaver when I first went to see her 15 or so years ago. She unfortunately associated herself with a practice that did not answer the phone, making communication difficult. At that time, there was an instance of same day rescheduling via voice-mail, with the threat when I showed up for the originally scheduled time, that the appointment would be billed because I did not show up at the new earlier time. Recently, while she's now at a different practice, it's practically impossible to speak with admin staff to schedule and confirm an appointment. This year, the Dr. failed to show up for the last 2 appointments, today cancelling with 15 minutes notice, while I was en route. If this Dr does not want me as a patient there are more professional ways of getting the message across. Not sure this post will reach the doctor or prompt any change - thanks for 'listening'
