I credit Dr. Lemay with saving my life. I know that sounds dramatic but after receiving an "all clear" on a routine mammogram and ultrasound, Dr. Lemay followed her "gut" and sent me for 2nd opinion. I was diagnosed with stage 2 / grade breast cancer. At 2cm tumour and I could not feel it myself. Because of Dr. Lemay I was diagnosed before it had a chance to spread and today I am celebrating 1 year cancer free.

Dr. Lemay is truly the most thorough and intuitive Docs I have ever had. While I try to avoid sounding melodramatic, I truly feel that Dr. Lemay saved my life. After getting the "all is good come back in a year" following a mammogram and ultra sound at Calgary Women's Imaging, Dr. Lemay felt that I should get a 2nd opinion which resulted in a diagnoses of grade 2 / stage 2 breast cancer. Because of her "intuition" (and a referal to the amazing Dr. Lafreniere) I am now celebrating 3 years cancer free. She moved across town to the Mission Clinic on 4th Street SW but I am so thankful I was able to track her down (she is no longer at Bowmont Med Clinic as listed in this site) and know that I am in very good hands. Dr. Lemay is thorough, puts you at ease and NEVER feel rushed. I feel extremely blessed to have such a fabulous doctor.
