Fantastic doctor! Always friendly, open minded, helpful and knowledgable. Very happy with him! Only thing is, his staff is not very helpful.

Dr. Tad (as all his patients know him as) is the best doctor I’ve ever known. To start, I have been a patient of his since 2017, and since our first appointment, I knew there was something different about his bedside manner and they way he took time to understand me. BEDSIDE MANNER/ OVERALL I’ve since met by chance 3 other patients of his and they all have said and feel the same as I do. He truly takes the time to understand his patients and is completely devoted to the study of Epilepsy and helping his patients not only be free of seizures/ find the right medication, but most of all have a good quality of life and cares deeply about his patient’s mental health. He is so cognizant of the fact that most patients are likely nervous, frightened or frustrated. He never talks down to a patient, when a lot of other doctors do (even though they don’t mean to...). Another patient who I was chatting with in the waiting room said once said that “he talks to you like a human being“. He often displays a sense of humor as well, which is really a nice way to make a patient feel at ease. He is always very calm, too. OFFICE MANAGEMENT Dr. Tad’s Assistant, Michele D’Angelo, is just as amazing as he is. She is very bright and will call you right back or direct your call to a nurse if you are having any issues. (When I fell and suffered from a concussion, she made me feel at ease and arranged for a nurse to call me right away.) All-in-all, I’ve never ever had a negative experience. TIMING It is true that you may have to wait to see Dr. Tad... At my first appointment with Dr. Tad, I did have to wait about 1.45 hours to see him. HOWEVER, patients and their families must understand that ANYTIME he is in the hospital he MAY be on call in the Emergency Department. Therefore, there may be a wait as he gives a neurological consult for the ER. Since, my first appointment 4 years ago, I haven’t had to wait more than 20 minutes, if that. My recommendation is getting the first appointment in the morning if you can. OVERALL Dr. Tad explains things very clearly so that anyone can understand them (be it a new diagnosis, new medication regiment, etc.,) and he never assumes that you understand medical jargon. He is also open to suggestions. He always has a smile on his face and has the best demeanour of any medical professional I’ve ever met!
