Dr. Manwell is a very rude and condescending doctor. He has a very poor bedside manner. I agree with the last e-mail posted, if you have a choice pick a different doctor!

Dr. Manwell did total knee replacements on both my legs. He was willing to do the surgery even though I was obese, and did not make rude, unkind comments about my weight like one of the other surgeons I approached. He is an excellent surgeon and I always felt that I was in extremely competent hands at all times. He was easy to speak to and willing to take the time to explain the procedure and answer any questions I might have. I would highly recommend this surgeon. BTW, a year after surgery I am doing fine and am on a diet. Thanks for being willing to take a risk on me, Dr. Manwell.

Lynda Benninger
Dr. Manwell did a total knee replacement on my left knee in 2013.. He did an excellent job and I was back to work (library) in no time. On August 22nd, 2019 he did the right knee. Dr. Manwellis a complete professional, and a skilled surgeon. He is honest, kind and so knowledgeable. If I need more surgery I would definitely recommend him. He is the best surgeon when it comes to total knee replacements, as far as I'm concerned. . Please don't let your pain from this type of surgery make you be angry at the surgeon. We often attack the wrong issue. I love Dr. Manwell.
