Extremely Happy Patient
I had surgery on my left foot in January of 2013 with Dr Mussett. His referral appointment was on time and very relaxed and informative. Surgery was nearly pain free, recovery good and results a year later are excellent, no more pain, shoes fit again and you can barley see the scar. I have since had a back injury and am just investigating to see if I can return to Dr Mussett for care with this. Well Done and thank you !

Had a tkr August 2017. Over the course of the year, told Dr. Mussett that I was still having pain, stiffness, decreased flexion, instability, difficulty with stairs etc. A different surgeon ordered a bone scan which showed loose tkr. Wrote Dr. Mussett to express concern that he did not explore and diagnose this given my symptoms. Eventually received a call from his secretary defending him. Never expressed any concern over the problem. Suggested that a bone scan is not good within the first 15 months because of false positive results for loosening. This is certainly not consistent with my research or from talking with the other surgeon. I might add that I am a very healthy, physically active 65 year old who was very faithful with my post tkr rehab. Now facing revision surgery which may be a year or more. Feel this should have been diagnosed and taken care of much sooner with the proper follow up.
