Dr. Strigler is very thorough, helpful, listens to any concerns that you have and acts on them straight away. He schedules tests, will provide you with referrals when he knows there is a specialist that could help you, and does follow up with you through out the process. Dr. Strigler also had his staff call me to double check when I can come in for followup. He also had his staff call me to let me know which pharmacy to go to in order to purchase my medication for less. He is attentive and goes out of his way!

In for a stomach flu the good doctor inquired beyond the immediate problem. Tests, follow up, more tests. Cancer. Foohey. Caught it early, surgery and all good. He listened and acted.

Dr. Strigler noticed a previously undiagnosed heart murmur during a routine check-up and sent me for an echo cardiogram which diagnosed me with stenotic Bicuspid Aortic Valve. If he had not caught this, (and no one had before) I would likely not have known about it until I was symptomatic years later. My heart would likely have become so enlarged by the time of intervention that it would not have recovered fully as it has. Thanks to him, I had the surgery in time and I can run and cycle to my heart's content!
