Made me feel uncomfortable, but he is an informed doctor. Maybe just a little socially inept. Could be more on time for meetings.

I suffered with mental health issues my whole life, substance abuse was part of it. I battled it my entire 20s and was always told the same by my family doctor and a psychiatrist in Sarnia: "It is your addiction that is causing your symptoms."... I always knew something was wrong, I ever mentioned ADHD to my family doctor and psychiatrist in Sarnia... I believed they thought I was trying to score stimulants, rightfully so as that's what addicts do. Then I thought I was bipolar until I saw Dr. Gelber. Hey diagnosed my properly and prescribed what the others were scared to do; a stimulant. My life today has changed exponentially because of this. I not only don't need to self medicare to calm me down but, I can't believe how smart I am... Thx Dr. Gelber Daniel Jones

My experiences with Dr.Gelber is that he is an excellent psychiatrist who is very knowledgeable, professional and kind hearted. He always returns messages promptly when I am in distress or requesting general information. His calm, friendly disposition and sense of humour is very much appreciated. Mental Health Departments can be very frightening to those of us who are ill. However, Dr.Gelber provides a safe and non-intimidating environment. Thank you.
