This was a disaster doctor. despite her office being across the street, she missed the pregnancy, there were complications that required her presences afterwords, she was a no show, (a few nurses talking mentioned she was drinking at a local bar and call to reschedule). Worst experience. This woman should not be a doctor

Literally fired her from being my gyno this past year after experiencing her incompetence both during my uterine ablation procedure as well as after. I made clear to her pre-op that I wanted to be regularly informed/spoken to throughout the procedure yet not a word from her even though I was 100% awake (I only had a spinal anesthetic... no other sedation). I wasn’t seen before discharge from hospital, nor told anything about whether it went well or not (therefore assumed all was ok). In recovery room it was realized that she’d not even put any sanitary napkin for the bleeding, and things were a mess. It was only at follow-up 2-3 months later at her office that I learned it had not been successful for a multitude of reasons (I had NOT ever been told this). I believe a competent doctor would have called me in within a week or so of the surgery to advise me of the complications. I’d still had symptoms since surgery, which her office was aware of, yet I still was never called in. At the follow-up appointment she seemed to not care at all at my being upset, never apologized when I described to her how tramautic my experience had been under her care. Nor did she apologize for not placing a pad between my legs. Having worked as a nurse in a major hospital setting I was absolutely stunned at the complete lack of any and all empathy. I made clear that I’d never return, but that I hoped future patients would receive better treatment based on what she’d heard from me. Lastly, I requested and received a copy of my chart from her office and was furious to realize that her notes from our follow-up appointment didn’t reflect the truth. She didn’t write anything about the details of why I complained to her even though I had listed them for her and went over each one. Her notes were meant to have me sound ‘difficult’ or unreasonable. Thank goodness I finally found another gynecologist through another one of my specialists. One who is both competent as well as kind/caring. There are still a few around! :)
