He listened when no one wanted to listen anymore and helped when no one was able to help my mom.....I wish I met this doctor much earlier and avoided all mental health system roadblocks earlier.

Dr. Patmanidis prescribed me Adderall and Clonazepam and didn't give me any proper instructions as to how to use it. I ended up developing a severe addiction and amphetamine psychosis. I'm currently in the process of reporting him to the "college of physicians" for committing malpractice. WARNING TO ALL: this Doctor will get you high and abandon you.

frightened and frustrated

Dr. Pat appeared to be very helpful and willing to listen, but he put my mother on an anti-psychotic drug even though she's a dementia patient. When I mentioned that my mother's spirit was gone (and that she didn't have schizophrenia - the disease the drug is supposed to treat), he told me to reduce dose by half. When I did some investigating after I watched my mother's confusion skyrocket and her feet began shuffling very badly (moreover, she couldn't stay awake at all), some preliminary research showed doctors had been sued for putting dementia patients on this medicine! Stay away from this doctor. If you must see him (as we did since my mom was put in hospital and we had no choice as he was the attending physician), do your homework or ask for a second opinion. I will be checking with another doctor immediately tomorrow.
