you have to wait 2 weeks for a doctor's appointment. this is unethical. 1) was suffering badly- had to wait 2 weeks for apt. then another week for blood test. then 2 more weeks for results. Six weeks later i was just about dead from Seratonin Syndrome. he thought it was a virus when i was like no way it's not a virus ( i was seriously dying - overheated, unable to breathe or talk i had to show him notes i wrote as i couldn't talk from lack of being able to breathe) only then did he diagnose me right. went back ( stupid ) as i was at first thinking i had stomach flu for 2 weeks...then it didn't lift i knew it was infection - he didn't believe it was infection despite my complaints and told me it was side effects from ADD meds !! ( which basically meant now he thought i had seratonin syndrome !! nuts !! i mean you know when you are sick vs. side effects !!! ) im now having to take a THIRD round of antibiotics as i couldn't get treated fast enough. lost my job and lost all my money spent on ballet program for summer in the process. im FURIOUS BEYOND BELIEF !!!!!

I'm rating Dr K as a spouse and main caregiver for a chronics patient. When my husband family's physician retired, it was very hard to find a sympathetic and reliable doctor to take him. After a few unsuccessful tries, Dr K was a real blessing, as his practice is small but accessible by public transit. Dr K immediately demonstrated an incredible empathy with my husband's serious health issues. Dr K got a very friendly and approachable personality and is always willing to advise and be helpful. My husband loves seeing him and is always comfortable with asking difficult questions to clarify his doubts. I would highly recommend Dr K. He's an excellent doctor and an incredible good human being.
