I always felt like Dr. Shanfield truly had my husband's best interests at heart. He is always caring and compassionate and he even went so far as to take time out of his extremely busy schedule to come and see my husband the morning that he passed away. I did on one occassion have to question his judgement as a test that was performed caused my husband to take a bad turn. When I confronted Dr. Shanfield he did not get angry with me he simply answered my questions and we discovered that the test was not performed as it was ordered, not his fault. Dr. Shanfield may be young, but there are alot of older physicians out there that need to take a lesson in bedside manner from this amazing young man. It is with heartfelt sincerity that I thank you Dr. Shanfield for your care, compassion and capabilities as a physician.
