Dr Spelliscy was by far the absolute WORST doctor we have ever seen in our entire lives. We brought our son into emergency with what we thought may be a broken leg and up until the time we saw the doctor the staff at KGH were absolutely wonderful, caring, sympathetic and treated our son very caringly. Until Dr. Dread walked into the room and advised that his leg was not broken and made us and our son feel like we were wasting his time and why were we there...along with accusing him of not being hurt, pushing on his leg saying he shouldn't be in pain? Just because something is not broken does not mean it should not hurt and you cant walk. He needs to learn some bedside manner BIG time and retire as his time has past and I am writing a formal complaint to the BC Medical Board in much more detail. I cannot advise like most people on here to PLEASE get a 2nd opinion or refuse to see this for lack of a better word doctor as he is absolutely the WORST and I nor anyone I know will ever see him. We will all refuse service if he is the last doctor left in ER. There are MANY wonderful Dr's in ER and this one MUST GO.
