He is the most efficient, professional, knowledgable and caring doctor I have met. He saved my Moms life who was bleeding internally. He diagnosed the problem and admitted her immediately. He was so comforting and down to earth...made us feel more relaxed and that everything will be taken care of. I wish every doctor out there would learn from Dr. Muntz of how to take care and treat patients and their families. We thank God Dr. Muntz was on duty in the ER that day.

had my broken wrist set twice in a 10 hour span-waited for 2 1/2 hours for dr.mutz to read the 2nd xray and he stated he didn't have time! I was not offered water or anything to eat-I went to emergency by myself and I was told later that I should have been told by triage to go to pan am clinic!! What a total waste of time! Dr. Mutz also told me when my wrist was set the 2nd time and if the xray was shown that it wasn't set good enough he would "let pan am deal with it" WHAT A PROFESSIONAL - GREAT HEALTH CARE!

Saw Dr. Mutz about a year ago for severe stomach and back pain, after waiting hours for him to see me he did absolutely nothing. We asked if I needed a CT scan to see what was causing the pain and his reply was pretty much 'what would I scan?'. After being there a couple hours, he pumped me full of morphine and sent me on my way with a prescription for a painkiller (can't remember the name of it). Two days later I went back to the hospital (a different one this time) because I was still in pain, the first thing the triage nurse said when she saw the prescription he had given me was what was he thinking. While it may have helped the back pain, the painkillers he prescribed to me were awful on the stomach which he knew I had terrible stomach pains to begin with. Finally after seeing a more competent doctor, who ordered both a CT scan and an ultrasound, it was determined it was my gallbladder and that I needed surgery to have it removed. I would steer clear of Dr. Mutz as he seemed like the only reason he became a doctor was for the paycheck and not for helping people.

This doctor is one of the worst medical professionals I’ve ever seen. He was dismissive, unprofessional and refused to listen to me while explaining my health situation. I was told by my family physician to go in to the emergency because the symptoms of my hiatus hernia seemed to have been worsening for the past few months and finally the pain had become so unbearable that I needed something done. Dr Mutz came into my room for maybe 2 minutes, denied the fact that I had a hernia when a gastroenterologist had confirmed this via an endoscopy on two occasions. When I had asked him if he looked at the gastroenterologist’s notes he said no. What the heck? What kind of doctor denies a factual piece of information that had been clinically proven by another medical professional without even looking at the endoscopy notes? Definitely going to be reporting this unprofessional and rude individual to the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba. 0/5 stars for him.
