I went to see Dr. Taddeucci for the first time because of a pulled groin/hernia problem. I don’t have a regular GP. I was looking for someone close to my office that could see me quickly. He met both those criteria. When I phoned for the appointment an obviously older ESL Chinese lady answered the phone and wanted to know why I needed to see the Doctor. I don’t think that is unusual. They like to know what the problem is. I got an appointment for the next day but they could have seen me the same day apparently. His office is definitely unusual. It has a strong Asian motif including a large blow-up globe in the corner and an old rotary style red telephone. The Asian lady (his assistant) was sittign in the waiting area when I came in. She was talking to an elderly gentleman that I took to be a patient. It seemed clear to me that despite her age, she was with it and had all her faculties about her. I was asked to fill in some basic information about myself on a blank piece of paper but was given a laminated chart that listed the information I was to provide. After a short wait the Doctor saw me. He took my history appropriately and then examined me. I think the examination was done appropriately as well. He told me he didn’t think I had a hernia but that I had a pulled groin (my research told me the symptoms can be very similar). He recommended pain relief and anti-inflammatory medication and asked that I call him if it got worse. His demeanor seemed normal,a little odd maybe but nothing more. Bottom line, I was quite happy with him. He seems to have a quirky office but I saw nothing that would make me question his competence which, in my view, is more important than bed-side manner.

I ended up with this Dr because I was new to BC and needed a referral to Pediatrician for my daughter quickly. I should have suspected something when I felt like this Dr was needing new patient so badly. What you experience there is so weird I thought I had one of those weird dream, it was so unreal. ( Everything on the review above was true! ) But I actually loved the grandma receptionist ( I thought she was 80+.) I would go back to see her but not the doctor, unfortunately. Dr wasn't rude or anything and did what I asked him to do rather fast, but would I trust him on my family's health matter? No...

Worst doctor I've ever seen. Office has no computers. The "receptionist" was a 70+ year old woman, who when I can im was sitting in the waiting room. It was my first time there and I was asked to write down all my information on a blank piece of paper, rather than a printed out form. The doctor himself, was cold, no bedside manner whatsoever. His deminor was more like a serial killer than a doctor. No emotion, no eye contact, cold, stared at my breasts...It was a horrible experience.
