Best doctor ever! These people do not get enough recognition for what they do. Would highly recommend DR Norris

I have had 2 surgeries by Dr/ Norris, and both times have found him to be very personable and very competent in what he is trained to do. I have also visited him in his office for follow up and also consultation and have been treated with the utmost dignity and respect from him. However his receptionist at the front desk leaves much to be desired. My last procedure occured in August , and I called to see where the pathology report was. He indicated that he would call with the results in about a week after the surgery. Upon not hearing from anyone I called to see if either I could speak to the doctor or have him call me back. She was very abrupt and rude, and didnot listen to what I had tried to tell her. She indicated to me that the results were sent to my Family doctor and I would have to discuss with him. This was totally incorrect, and so a return call the next day. founded me going into the office and picking up a photo copy of the results from Pathology and also spoke with another receptionist. I told her about my ordeal and she requested that I speak to Dr. Norris about this matter directly. She was very pleasant and cordial, and I told her so. I willnot deal with the receptionist that answers the phone for the clinic, anylonger, and therefore will address this matter with him on my next appointment. I also have witnessed her being rude and abrupt with other patients in the office, and have comments from friends who deal with his associates in the clinic who also have had to speak with her. She may be very efficient, but if continues to speak to patients that way may find herself to be out of job, due to lack of patients going to see these doctors. Without patients, Doctors donot need receptionists. to answer phones and greet patients.
