First question I was asked was "What is your income" I replied that I was not currently working, was seeking employment. Asked how i was living. Said on my Mastercard. Found this very unprofessional. After several tests, ultrasound radiology, which clearly showed that the gallbladder was full of sludge. I was having very frequent and severe attacks. He was only sure the gallbladder was 50/50 to blame, although the first consultation was 70/30. Feel that had i offered him extra cash i may have been "fast tracked" Left the office in tears stating I will just go to emerg with the next one. Very disappointed.!!!

I read the comment with Martinez with great interest, this is the same surgeon who In January 2010 carried out an appendectomy on wife - 2 months before the tragic Martinez incident. Ever since that surgery was performed at the Rockyview Hospital, she has lived in diabolical pain to the point where she can be forced to the fetal position, due to the intensity of the pain which strikes at any moment without warning. Despite two exploratory operations to solve the problem, we're still no further forward - no one seems to know what the problem is. Despite no end of letters to Fred Horne (Minister for Health and wellness) Alison Redford - Danielle Smith - no reply from any of them - that was, until I contacted the press - I then get an email the next day from Fred Horne acknowledging he received all letters and apologizing for the delay! Four months delay? To the date of this post, we're still trying to get someone within the AHS who understands what the problem is - as I have said to them on many occasions, "are we seriously saying that my wife in the whole of Alberta, Canada, or even the world for that matter, who has this problem following an appendectomy?" It's impossible - someone, somewhere, medically qualified, knows what this problem is - all we have to do is find him/her! As for Elkassem, he's now performing his 'handy-work' in Toronto. I can only agree with Joe, the guy should struck off for life!

If this is the same surgeon who performed an appendectomy on Martinez the guy should be struck off and jailed for what he did to him!
