Dr. Lee attended my sister Beverley Chapman today. After evaluation, Dr. Lee has recommended a diagnostic and operative hysteroscopy to be performed in NYGH on 14 April 2016. From our scheduled appointment time of 3:10 P.M., we departed Dr. Lee's office at 5:10 P.M. Dr. Lee appeared to spend 15 minutes with Beverley - following an initial evaluation by Intern student Dalia. Dr. Lee seems courteous and competent. We are grateful for her interest in assisting Beverley.

I had Dr. Lee for my first pregnancy. She did not deliver my baby even though i was overdue 41.5 weeks. Instead i was instructed to go directly to NYGH labor and delivery to get checked out when she should have scheduled me to be induced. When i showed up, they told me i needed to be induced immediately because my placenta wasnt giving enough nutrients to my baby. I ended up having a csection with the doctor on call because my baby started going into distress. It was all very terrifying. I called the office and left multiple messages after i delivered my baby for a follow up, since I had a c section. My cut was to be seen by my ob to be monitored and to make sure it was healing properly. I made this clear on my msgs. They never cared to follow up with me. I was never seen. My scar was never checked. They literally did not think twice about me. Not even a phone call. I am extremely frustrated with the lack of care I received. She should have induced me and checked to see if everything was ok instead of just telling Me to show up, unannounced at the hospital and have the on call people check me out. Luckily everything turned out ok. But not thanks to her.

I believe Dr.Lee has no business running a practice for Pregnant women. She is inattentive, doesn't monitor or pay attention to important information. She lacks punctuality as her office is often overbooked. There are basics of monitoring a pregnant woman that she misses the mark on. I believe she caused risk to moms to be and their unborn children. I find her very arrogant. She seems to be a surgeon 1st and an OB second. I've seen her make mistakes and then down play them. It's easy to say there was already a problem after the fact. Please look for another OB. As a surgeon she may be skilled but do not expect to be followed up with or monitored afterwards.

My opinion is not to see this doctor. Her staff are rude. There is a toxic atmosphere in the office, and going there is just asking for drama rather than proper health care. Better to avoid Dr. Sabrina Lee altogether.
