I was referred to Dr.Ryan Anthony Williams by a local neurologist who works out of McMaster Hospital. The neurologist stated that the mentioned Dr.Ryan Williams was a physiatrist. On Saturday May 9th 2015, I visited the neurologists office to see Dr.Williams .I asked Dr.Williams if he was indeed a physiatrist, which he said 'yes'. He was to diagnose me as a physiatrist. As Ive come to find out through internet search and this website/commment page, he is most definitely NOT a registered physiatrist! I DO NOT recommend this doctor and something WILL be done about this misrepresentation and lack of care for myself as a human being and my life/health issue being dismissed as nothing.

I am my 86 year old father's full time caregiver. My dad had a stroke in 2012 and we were referred to Dr. Williams for rehabilitation. Our experience with Dr. Williams has been outstanding. Quite aside from the botox treatments that he has provided to my dad which have reduced the spasticity in his stroke-affected leg, thereby allowing him to regain much function with activities of daily living, Dr. Williams has been outstanding in terms of his acute awareness of any irregularities in my dad's health. One example was his concern about some swelling my in my dad's leg at one of his botox appointments. Dr. Williams immediately arranged a doppler scan in another part of the hospital and a potentially fatal blood clot of found and addressed. Another example was his concern about redness in one of my dad's toes on his stroke-affected side. Dr. Williams again immediately arranged a bone scan of my dad's toe and a bone infection was diagnosed. Dr. Williams is hands-down a caring, competent health care provider who I trust implicitly and appreciate completely. Furthermore, Dr. Williams' kindness and sensitivity when working with my dad who has challenging behaviours due to vascular dementia from his stroke, is outstanding.

With all the rude remarks on his reviews, I was kind of intimidated. However as soon as I walked in the office he greeted me and he was definitely very thorough and obviously very intelligent. What's most important he had manners and very respectful. I highly recommend him. Top of that he had respectful staff.
