This man gives the whole profession a bad name. As a medical student myself, I was astounded by his lack of compassion, his condescending attitude and his total disregard for patients. I went into his office with what I knew (from repeated experience) was a UTI. Without looking at me or running a single test, he told me I had an STD and then proceeded to berate me on the evils of casual sex. Besides being entirely inappropriate, he hadn't even taken the time to glance at my chart to see that I'm married. He diagnosed me (inaccurately) within minutes of walking through the door without listening to a word I had to say, and then when I dared to question him, said to me "look at the degree on the wall, hunnie. I'm a physician, and you need a reality check." It scares me that a man with such flagrant disregard for people is a part of this profession.
