My very first gynecologist and simply the best. Dr. SHATZ is very professional and always took the time to make me feel comfortable. He delivered my first born via c-section and was present for my second and third. Very sad that he has refired these past few years and i will always remember him as a GREAT physician. Thank you Dr. SHATZ for your kindness and professionalism!

I have been a patient of Dr.Shatz for several years. He is an excellent doctor. Once you get to know him and understand his sense of humour, you realize that he is a caring individual. He supervised interns while a gave birth to my two children and if Dr. Shatz hadn't been so quick to take over when my daughter's birth started going very wrong, I probably wouldn't be here right now to write about it. I saw it in his face, he who tries to show no emotion. This time, he couldn't hide it. He really cares about the well-being of his patients. Dr. Shatz, I will truly miss you. Happy retirement!

I have been a patient of Dr.Shatz for 35 years. He has been a wonderful and skilled physician. Unfortunately it is time that he retired. I recently had surgery for uterine cancer. This cancer was detected by an ultrasound ordered by a different specialist for an unrelated medical condition. Thank goodness the cancer was caught early and did not spread outside the uterus. For years, I had been using estrogen cream, as prescribed by Dr.Shatz. However, until this year, I had never had a uterine biopsy, despite complaints of periodic post-menopausal spotting. Current medical guidelines recommend a biopsy. I also had not had a pelvic ultrasound for ~ 3 years. If these tests had been carried out in a timely fashion, the outcome would have been different. No one needs to get a diagnosis of cancer and if you're lucky, to live with being identified as a "cancer survivor". The whole experience is life-altering. Dr.Shatz, thank-you for the good care you've given me; but, please retire! See Responses
