I was referred to Dr. Magder in 2011 because of severe headaches. Not only was he rude, but he did little in the form of a neurological evaluation. Had he done, he would have seen that something was wrong, and he would have referred me for the appropriate tests (for example, an MRI) to come up with a diagnosis. Instead, he made me feel as if I was wasting his time, and suggested to me that my headaches were imagined. As it turns out, I had full-blown cases of Trigeminal Neuralgia and Glossopharyngeal Neuralgia that were very quickly identified by the competent headache specialist that I was referred to after my failed attempt to get help through Dr. Magder; however, worst of all, on top of these very painful conditions, it turns out I also have a good-sized brain tumour. For anyone reading this review, if your primary care doctor refers you to this doctor, I recommend you ask to be referred to someone else. Dr. Magder doesn't care about helping you. He seems only to care about making you feel bad for taking up his time.

Dr Magder is very rude and doesn't care about the patient. He doesn't listen and jump to wrong conclusions. Avoid going to this neurologist as you won't get any help from him.

Believe the negative reviews! I'm 68 years old and I have not met anyone anyone as unpleasant as this man. But I don't go to a doctor for pleasantries I go for medical care. In order to do a neurological exam the doctor has to listen to the patient. His skills in this department aptly displayed by rude interruptions then moments later asking again....about EXACTLY what I was trying to tell him in previous answer. I have had a proper neurological exam in the past by Dr. Bryer. What this guy madger did was NOT a usefull examination. Careless, incomplete, ...just going through the motions....well some of the motions. I urge anyone (and im sure there are many) who have had a similar experience to contact the college of physicians and surgeons. NO WAY should our precious healthcare dollars be going to such a waste of time!
