Recently my mother was sent to this hospital - four times. Once for a test the doctor at the rehab ordered. We waited 6 hours in the hallway without food or drink and when we saw the one doctor there (everything is done in emergency) he disagreed with the rehab doctor and vetoed the tests. The next time - not that long after - she was having trouble breathing and they could find nothing wrong and sent her back. The other times were pretty well the same. Her lungs were good, heart was good. There was a white spot in her throat - that did not concern them. The last time she died there. We still don't know why??? She was elderly and all this took a toll. I think in the end she put up a good fight but just gave up. We couldn't blame her. This long waits in hallways, watching people come out covered on stretchers. So many in the emergency waiting on one doctor. Oh yes and this is a teaching hospital.
