I've seen 7 urologists in my lifetime. The ONLY really good one I've had, stopped practising about 20 years ago. He rightly diagnosed my problem in 1977 and found it with the aid of an X-Ray. This present urologist, as well as all the others I have seen since, have all neglected the diagnosis made by the best urologist I've ever had; in addition, they have equally refused to have me pass me an X-Ray which would allow me to prove to them my oid urologist was right. One of the products I was prescribed by the present urologist had quite terrible side effects. After much trial and error, I found two natural products, in combination with one vegetable in particular that does the job, with no side effects to worry about. I cook some beats (do not overcook) and drink about half a cup each night. I only need to get up once a night now to pee. It does wonders for me. I also avoid dairy products, which inflame the prostate. Coming back to the present urologist, the only operation he offers is not the best in my opinion. The one I want is offered in Israel and certain other countries; it present little danger of causing impotence or loss of bladder control. Recuperation time is indays and not many months. They use heat to shrink the prostate. Overall, this urologist is a nice guy but I consider that he does have the knowledge needed to treat my prostate problem.
