dr massabki looked at my complex traumatized trans existence and diagnosed me with adjustment disorder and gave me abilify, an antipsychotic. he is very hard to reach as he runs the CAIP unit and for some strange reason 'doesnt do email.' we haven't even gotten to the part where he diagnosed me with gender identity disorder TWO WHOLE YEARS after the WHO erased that from the DSMV. i went to a different psych for an hour and got 7 diagnoses whereas he saw me daily in inpatient for a week and misdiagnosed me with a temporary form of post traumatic stress when i told him my symptoms had been happening for years. please don't see this man. even if he treats you well he is impossible to reach if something begins to go wrong with your meds. parents, if your kid is displaying symptoms of anything beyond anxiety and depression please refer your kids to CAMH or the Peterborough hospital. This doctor is not worth your time that he will waste. he sees me for twelve minutes a month and offers no emotional support. ive been on 5 antidepressants now and i am still depressed.
