This doctor was the cause for my near-death experience in 2012 at UBC. He continued to insist on prescribing SSRI and other antidepressants despite them making me suicidal (which I continued to inform him). In my young, (underage in BC age) state, I was very vulnerable and trusted that what he was saying was correct but eventually it led to the financial loss of over $25,000 USD, my medical withdrawal from the University, and almost my life (with multiple suicide attempts and/or actions as a side effect of the medicines that were continued to be prescribed by this physician). I nearly sued UBC in 2014 before receiving a CAD $10,000 "good-will gesture" from the University on top of a small refund from my payments for the dormitory and the meal plan program. I decided against legal action after this as the mental distress and trauma caused from this was already too much to handle. Everything written in here is true and includes my account and opinions to the best of my true knowledge -- and everything is contained in the full 43 page medicals records which I still possess as a PDF file.
