Dr Hodd took wonderful care of me during 5 pregnancies & deliveries. He also delivered my first Grandchild! I cannot speak highly enough of his skill, compassion & kindness as a Doctor/Surgeon having had numerous surgeries as well. Ontario's loss is B.C.'s gain!!

This "doctor" was on call for my regular OB/GYN when I was pregnant with my son in 1988. In my 7th month I was experiencing sharp and severe abdominal pain and vomiting. My panicked family called my doctor and got Hodd on call instead. They explained the situation and that they were preparing to take me to hospital. He responded in an angry voice (for bothering him) and told them, "not to bother the emergency department" with this nonsense. Yeah, this was a seasoned OB/GYN giving that instruction, wow! I was taken to the ER and waited in agony for 5 days for those brain donors to figure out what it was. The whole time they were giving me meds to lax me but I was dumping them in the sink (thank God!). It turned out I had a perforated appendix, ready to burst. Thank God it hadn't. Between Dr Hodd and the Scarborough General Hospital staff, I almost died and so did my baby. This guy shouldn't be delivering feral wolves in the forest. The problem is these big shots get away with this because they're untouchable. Disciplinary action from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario is a joke.

This "doctor" butchered my insides to the point where, after 3 surgeries I had to have a full hysterectomy at the age of 33. I can't be bothered going into the details but suffice it to say he used me as an experiment for his surgery skills and it failed, badly. He was dismissive of my pain in the aftermath and told me to see a psychiatrist. It is very cathartic for me to write this as he ruined my reproductive organs and I should have sued and sought compensation. Rest in hell, Dr. Hodd.

Dr Hodd was there for the birth of my three daughters. He was very good with me, always pleasant and very helpful with any questions or issues I had. May he rest in peace
