Dr Nadella is my sisters Dr. She put my sister on medication that seemed to be helping for a bit until her anxiety got so bad she tried her on a new medication. Lithium. When taking this medication you NEED to have your kidneys monitored because it can do damage to your kidneys. My sister was taking this for 2 weeks and then Dr Nadella increased the dosage of Lithium and was supposed to monitor her blood work which was being done every 2 weeks. It wasn't until our family doctor called to notify my sister that her Kidney levels were VERY bad and needed to go see him right away. Our family doctor had her stop taking the Lithium immediately as it was doing damage to her kidneys. She is now not taking ANY medication and feeling better than ever. My sister has called Dr. Nadella may times to find out why she wasn't notified of her dangerous kidney readings from her blood work but never received a call back. To me this is unacceptable as a medical professional. Anyone taking Lithium should be very couscous and make sure you are being monitored properly. This almost did permanent damage to my sisters kidneys and could have killed her.

Very unprofessional. Has taken a personal cell phone call at least once every meeting I have had with her. Doesn't remember anything about me or my case until reading her notes, but doesn't even have the consideration to do this before I'm in the room.

Dr. Nadella has taken personal calls during every appointment and more than one. I've seen her about 5 times. The first visit she insisted that she was not a 'pill pusher' however, had prescribed an antidepressant and a sleeping pill. Second visit, she increased the antidepressant, prescribed an additional, and added an anxiety med. Despite my advisement that the medication was causing excessive bleeding from my bowels. By the 4th visit, I tell her that I've gone off the medication that was causing the bleeding. She tells me that I'm bipolar. She also became very defensive when I suggested that perhaps the my issues were actually related to my Hashimoto's disease (well documented) and she says that that's not her area and she only treats the 'head'. Today's visit... after 20 minutes, and talking about a new medication for my thyroid rather than an antidepressant, she became angry, defensive, and very unprofessional and said that she was no longer my psychiatrist because I was not taking any medication prescribed by her. I called her out on her angry temper tantrum. After doing some background checks, I've discovered that this a pattern of behaviour for her. I will be following up with the College of Physicians.
