CINDY A. SWARTZ

I took my 12 year old daughter to see this doctor. My daughter has two sleep disorders as diagnosed by youthdale sleep centre. In grade 6 her teacher said her personality had changed. There was massive evidence of depression. This doctor decided since most of the "stressors" had been eliminated that there should no longer be a problem. I disagreed and sought help at Hincks Dell Crest where she is now receiving treatment. My daughter was bullied in the extreme in grade 3, and several times after that year. In grade 6 she started crashing. Her teacher spoke to me about the changes he saw and I started immediately to seek help. I also sought help from my medical doctor who has been involved since the beginning. We decided the best course was to prescribed medicine along with the program at Hincks Dell Crest. My daughter started Grade 7 in September. She has been unable to attend school except for afternoon classes. The school has been very helpful. We are looking forward to this new year being more positive for her and for her to get better. Thank You.
