Dr. Samuels spent a lot of time pre-op to understand my medical history, current medical condition, allergies, present medications that I was taking. He made me feel like the most important person of the moment and gave me great confidence that my care was in excellent hands. He explained what was happening or would happen to the point I was unconscious. I had no post recovery negative reactions to drugs administered. Very importantly, prior to the surgery, he took the time to instruct me on the proper use of asthma inhalers which I had been incorrectly administering. I'm just a patient....but I thank him from the bottom of my heart. This is a talented person who has earned my respect. Great work....Allan Stevens, Calgary
