My experience I think he is in this profession for the money. I was astonished that he is not familuar with medications that are 15 yrs old. My wife suffers from degenerative disease arthritis and gout and vertebrae issues other chronic injuries and all he wants to prescribe is anti depressants & there is no evidence that anti depressants help with degenerative arthritis, lupus, degenerative discs. So my wife has to suffer in pain because apparantly there are too many junkies in the valley. When asking for other tests nothing gets done. Anti depressants are for DEPRESSED ppl period & the physical side effects are intolerable! I went in with my wife to last visit & we asked for a NON narcotic medication and were told no & he wrote an other prescription for anti depressant. When the non narcotic medication actually increases the serotonin levels in the brain- so again a doctor unfamiliar with a very well known atypical non narcotic pain med that you can get at any walk in clinic. If anti depressants were the cure for rheumatoid arthritis & gout trust me the Fat Pharmacist comps would market them as such. I'm not go to allow my wife to take more antidepressants that make her body sick & her mind mush. He needs to go back to medical school.
