Dr. Neelands is pediatrician for my 3 children (currently 4 - 13 years old). She is very knowledgeable and good with the kids. Sometimes it seems like she is doing her assessments very quickly, but as she comes up with very thorough evaluations, I assume it is just due to her long-standing experience. She can do stuff quickly. there is always some wait time when you have an appointment, but I think this is acceptable, as this is mainly due to same day appointments for sick children. It's a trade-off. If you want your child to be seen the same day because of an urgent matter than you have to be prepared to wait. Now that I know I just plan a bit more time and bring some toys . If Dr. Neelands is not there, her colleagues are covering, and I am also very happy with them.
