I have never seen a person who is as rude as Dr. Stein. I have many examples, but prefer not to share them here as we haven't found a new doctor yet.

We put up with Dr. Stein's excessive rudeness for two years, only because we were insecure new parents, and we were afraid we wouldn't be able to find another pediatrician in our area, or that we would be somehow "blacklisted" if we complained about her. Aside from being rude, she also misdiagnosed our daughter several times. Once when I had brought my daughter in for the second time in a week because she seemed so so sick, Dr. Stein said she just had a cold and that I should stop wasting her time; in fact, she had bronchial pneumonia, which I only found out when, in desperation, I took her to the hospital clinic. When, after two years, we took my daughter to a new pediatrician, it took just one examination for her to diagnose a heart murmur. Fortunately, it was not a dangerous one, but it confirmed our feelings that Dr. Stein's nastiness was not even mediated by competence.
