Provided surgery to remove my right adrenal gland and tumor. no follow up lack of bed side manor. His thought of post op follow up was a 5 minute check in and cut down 1 stich. He also stated along with my previous endocrinologist Dr Kovec, i would be up and running back to work within 6 to 8 weeks. That was a uneducated lie! Upon questioning him about life substantial medication I was to take he refused it to me and released me from hospital. I almost died due to his lack of knowledge and care and since my surgery in 2014 my health has declined and I'm am no longer in remission. I would highly recommend you question him about every concern you may have and research your illness prior to going under his knife.

Dr. Touma is an excellent Urologist. I received & continue to receive excellent care from him & his staff. He is very thorough, caring and trusting. We are fortunate having Dr. Touma in Kingston.

I saw this Dr. for ongoing issue with a blind ended ureter (BEU) that I knew I had from being told about it following a surgery to remove a kidney. He did a scope but was unable to locate the BEU. When asked "now what" he offer no helpful suggestion and dismissed me, suggesting that maybe it was gone or my memory flawed. Terrible and unprofessional. I discover later from other, more experienced specialists, that this is not how to locate a BEU and he should have done a retrograde pyelogram. After 2 years of ongoing challenges with repeated infections I finally have a specialist who is responding appropriately. Dr. Touma if you read this post please develop your professional curiosity and explore what patients tell you more thoroughly and do not dismiss their concerns. I deserved better care from you and you failed. Please learn from that.
