I saw Dr. Warsi in the emergency department and in the clinic and he is excellent! He knows a lot about psychiatry and medications and booked a long appointment to explain it to me. He expalined all about the meds I could use and I picked the right one. I'm back at college now. My family doctor really likes him too.

I disgree with the previous comment because I think it refers to the wrong Doctor. There is a Dr. Mohammed Warsi in BC and another in Ontario. Dr. Warsi in Hamilton and St Catharines (Ontario) has been my Dr. for 5 years and I must say, he is the best Psychiatrist I have ever met. I have had treatment resistant depression most of my life, and Dr. Warsi was the only one who explained things to me in detail and found the right medications. I was one step away from getting shock therapy. I still have some depressed days, but now I can function and enjoy my family. I might even go back to work. I couldn't have done it with Dr. Warsi (ONTARIO).

I agree with the last comment. I'm sure the first person has the wrong Dr. Warsi since the one who works at St Joes Hamiton is not the same one in BC. I saw Dr. Warsi at the East Region Mental Health Clinic in East Hamilton and it was a great experience. He is very smart and can explain things plainly. He is polite and respectful and I appreciate his advice. Even though I saw him only once, the note he wrote to my family doctor was excellent and helped me get on the right meds.
